Close proximity






Took some photos of the old dog today - who knows if she'll be my subject. I did, however, find out that my camera isn't so hot with macro (?). I think there is something frightening about the subject being too close...

    Unfortunately , macro settings do not work in the same way a macro lens does.

    The first photo of your dog is a nice portrait. Good use of shallow depth and the direct eye contact makes it feel much more personal.
